God's Plan of Salvation
A - Acknowledge that the Bible is true when it says that you are a sinner disconnected from God and in need of a Savior. - Romans 3:23 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. - Isaiah 59:1-2a (NLT) Listen! The Lord's arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call. It's your sins that have cut you off from God. - Romans 6:23 (NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal love through Christ Jesus our Lord.
B - Believe Jesus is who He said He is and that He can save you right now! - John 1:12-13 To all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become choldren of God. They are reborn - not with physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God. - Romans 10:9-10 (NLT) If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is confessing with your mouth that you are saved.
C - Call upon God to save you. Commit your life to Him now by repenting of sin and surrendering to Jesus' leadership as Lord of your life. Continue to make that choice daily. - Romans 10:13 (NLT) Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. - 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (NLT) Whatever we do, it is because Christ's love controls us. Since we believe that we have all died to the old life we used to live. He died for everyone do that those who receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them.
D - Determine to begin doing everything He says. Devote the rest of your life to developing and nurturing your personal love relationship with Him. Learn the difference between knowing about God and truly knowing God by experience. - Matthew 22:37-38 (NLT) Jesus replied, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind." This is the first and greatest commandment. - John 14:15 (NLT) If you love Me, obey My commandments. - John 15:10 (NLT) When you obey Me, you remain in My love, just as I obey My Father and remain in His - love. - John 17:3 (NLT) And this is the way to have eternal life - to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the One You sent to earth.
